Reports and a dashboard on eviction filing data from Travis County courts

BASTA maintains a database of evictions filed in Travis County from 2014 to the present that updates daily. We have written reports on evictions filed last year, as well as for years prior starting in 2022. These reports provide a Travis County and City of Austin specific context to the issue of evictions.

The eviction data is presented on a dashboard that tracks ongoing eviction filings and allows a more interactive investigation of the data. We invite the larger Austin community and its leaders to engage in discussions around mitigating the unnecessary harms of evictions.
