A report and dashboard on eviction filing data from Travis County courts

BASTA maintains a database of evictions filed in Travis County from 2014 to the present that updates daily. We have written a report that provides a Travis County and City of Austin specific context to the issue of evictions. The eviction data is presented on a dashboard that tracks ongoing eviction filings and allows a more interactive investigation of the data. We invite the larger Austin community and its leaders to engage in discussions around mitigating the unnecessary harms of evictions.
